Learning outcomes

The objective of the course is to supply to the student, a deepened vision related to the organizing and technological implications of the computer science inside the enterprises.

Syllabus

After an introduction to the base concepts of the business computer science, the course deepens the relationship between the enterprise informative system and the organizational structure of the companies, going to the hart of the matter of the fundamental themes that connect the ICT (Information and Communication Technology) to the organizational planning.
Will be furnished therefore to the student a systematic vision of the opportunities offered by the actual Information and Communication Technology to the business world. They will analyze the principal technological solutions and application used for the data management and for the business information management (ERP, MRP, CRM, Chain of the value automatized). Particularly the attention will be set on the intra-organizational implications and inter-organizational implications determined today by the ICT in the enterprises, underlining as ICT favours the evolution of the same organizational forms.
In the progress of the course will be also face the evolution in action in the business models connected to the introduction in the enterprise of the WWW (e-business, e-procurement, business portals, m-business).
