Entrepeneurship, business model and network

The purpose of the research group is to study entrepreneurship practices aimed at creating value. In particular, entrepreneurial learning processes are investigated in family-owned SMEs to understand how family can facilitate or prevent the handover of cognitive resources necessary to develop new business initiatives and manage the existing ones. Other areas of research concern the exploration of the relationships among companies (networks) to develop and manage reticular business models. Specifically, the research group scrutinises determinants of network creation in light of those resources necessary to implement innovative business models. Research activities apply interpretative models and interdisciplinary methods of study and provide mainly qualitative empirical analyses.
