he course aims to provide the students with a framework for audit functions within the systems of corporate governance with particular reference to the Italian legal framework.
The course also aims to provide the basic principles and standards of reference for the conduct of the audit and the methods of analysis of systems of control in the company along the approach to risk assessment.

The exam is oral, and is aimed at verifying the knowledge of the principles and procedures of auditing; the test would also assess the critical ability to apply these principles and methodologies to specific steps of the process and to specific areas of the financial statement, and the ability to expose the learned notions and to motivate the choices.
