The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Learning outcomes

This course intends to provide students with the competencies to analyze the context of public services in Italy, with a particular focus on public utilities. In addition, the course aims to develop in students knowledge and critical understanding of the role of public and private actors in public service management, and to emphasize customer centrality for service quality. In order to encourage students’ learning ability, the course includes both a theoretical approach and the discussion of case studies based on real situations.

Examination Methods

The learning objectives will be assessed through an oral examination. The students will have to demonstrate: a) to understand the context of public services in Italy, with a particular focus on public utilities; b) to be able to critically analyze and discuss the role of public and private actors in public service management, also with regard to real situations and case studies; c) to be able to apply the customer-centrality concept to public services in a managerial perspective.
