Co.S.M.O - Competences Software Management for Organizations. An Application for Competences Valorization and Human Resources Development
Progetto finanziato nell’ambito del programma Joint Projects 2014
The project aims to create an analysis’s model of the key competences of human resources into the (profit and nonprofit) organizations. It wants to realize an application (the electronic storage device will be defined according to the needs of users, e.g. pc, tablet, smartphone) that can help business area manager, function manager or department manager to classify and evaluate employees’ competences to make them and the enterprise more aware of the internal resources and of the possibility to transfer employees’ competences. In fact, an original project’s aspect is the scientific reference: we will use a European model of competences, the "European Qualifications Framework - EQF", that can help to make used languages more noticeable and to facilitate worker results’ recognition into the international market.
This instrument will enable managers to change their perspective: from an approach focused on performance to an orientation toward the development of employees’ competences.
At the organizational level we could work not only on developing skills, knowledge and abilities of employees but also on helping the communication between organizational levels and helping the employer (knowledge management at all levels) to be more aware of his competences, with the purpose to increase his professional autonomy.
A strength resulting from the cooperation between University (Assessment/Docimological Centre and Department of Business Administration) and corporate partner (DVG Solving) is the network created with local profit and nonprofit organization. The partner is an enterprise that works in management training and has daily contacts with companies through which it will be possible to test and validate the model.
