Curriculum

Paola Signori is Associate Professor in Marketing and Supply Chain management at the University of Verona since 2006., with a PhD on Management and Governance at Naval Institute of Naples in 1999. Since 2015 she is vice-director of the teaching and research centre in Economics and management of the University of Verona, located in Vicenza. The Department of Business Administration nominated her as representative member of the local Alumni Association (Alvec), and delegate to coordinate Vicenza’s Polo activities. She is also local Enactus Faculty Advisor, and scientific committee member of the Italian Society of Marketing.
 
Her research focus is on:
  • supply chain sustainability and resilience
  • digital marketing and social impact
  • corporate identity and congruence analysis
  • relationship marketing and networks (ecosystems)
She is actively working on international research projects with the University of Tennessee, Colorado State University and the University of South Florida. She is also project manager of a number of research projects for the University of Verona. Since 2009 her research efforts are predominantly focused on relationship analysis within the global food industry (in particular, wine and dairy). Her numerous research projects have a common scope to highlight strategic and operational constraints, limits or barriers, to try to help practitioners to be more resilient and sustainable in their decisions.
 
Signori won the Highly Commended Reviewer Award (2012, Emerald Literati Network) and the Outstanding Paper Award (2016, International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management). Finally, Paola Signori’s mission has always been to actively collaborating with a large number of companies and institutions, investing effort and time in networking and volunteering for many activities.
